“You can have anything you want. If you dress for it.”

– Edith Head

The mission of The Ashley Edit is to help you dress well, and feel confident enough to achieve your wildest dreams. I believe that great first impressions make you powerful, and an amazing wardrobe is your tool for success.

On this platform, I share fashion for every season, outfit ideas, and shopping guides, educating you on what works for your everyday life. Of course, I have my own sources of inspiration, too! At The Ashley Edit, I provide tips on how to dress like my favorite style icons. I also identify trends in my trend showcase, and interpret them so that they’re wearable for you!

Come back to the site often, and you’ll realize that I’m just a twenty-something girl who’s navigating the world. Sometimes, I talk about my travel experiences. Other days, I chat about college and relationships! 🙂

What sets The Ashley Edit apart from other blogs is the creativity. As a Dallas Fort Worth fashion stylist, Ashley uses her styling knowledge to create exclusive editorials for the blog. She loves inspiring her readers to try something new!

The Ashley Edit is updated three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) with fresh, exciting content. To hear about new posts, be sure to follow me on Instagram, and ‘like’ The Ashley Edit on Facebook!

I’m Ashley, a Dallas Fort Worth fashion stylist and blogger, and author of The Ashley Edit.

I first started blogging around 2012 while still in high-school. No doubt, I loved working on my blog (which back then was a different name), but it always came secondary to my studies. As a result, I pursued blogging half-heartedly until my junior year at The University of North Texas.

My real story didn’t start until 2015. That summer, I assisted leading Dallas fashion stylists, Ana Patino and Kristin McIntyre, gaining hands-on styling experience for the first time. While on-set, I found true happiness, and realized that styling and working with other creatives was my passion.

In the summer of 2016, I flew north to be the Apparel Web Styling intern at Anthropologie’s home office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There, I worked alongside top industry models represented by IMG Models, Next Management, and Ford Models. I also met some of the world’s best hair and makeup talent, including Frankie Foye and Nina Park.

Upon returning to Texas, I founded The Ashley Edit in October 2016. My intention was to have a fresh start, and finally get serious about my passion for blogging. Not only did I want a platform to showcase my personal style, but I also wanted to share my styling work (more so than what’s in my portfolio). During my senior year, I dropped nearly every organization I was in at UNT, and dedicated all my time and energy to building my freelance styling career and The Ashley Edit.

In May of 2017, I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising and a Bachelor of Science in Digital Retailing. Currently, I live in Grand Prairie, Texas with my parents. I’m grateful to be able to stay with them while I grow The Ashley Edit and Ashley N. Styling.  🙂
