College Gameday Tailgating Outfit (for Cold Fall Weather)

Hi friends! In today’s post, I’m partnering with Gameday Couture to bring you a college gameday tailgating outfit that’s perfect for cold fall weather! When I was in college, tailgating events were a time to look your best, while still looking casual and down-to-earth. It can be a tough look to achieve, especially when your #1 concern is staying warm at the game! No matter how many layers you put on, you’re sure to look stylish in Gameday Couture! I watched them on Shark Tank years ago, and the brand premise is GENIOUS! They offer fan apparel for gameday, but with a trendy, fashionable twist specifically for women!

In this post, I’m rocking an A&M Aggies look. I’ve styled Gameday Couture’s vintage tunic dress under their quilted vest with polka dot lining. When I received these items in the mail, I have to say I was just blown away by the quality. These pieces are so worth the price, because they’re going to hold up through many washes during your college years. Plus, they’re great to wear around campus on a daily basis, and not just on gameday.

Anyway, gameday is one of the few days when I feel justified in going overboard with accessories! If you have earrings and bracelets in the right team color, why not wear them? You can never show too much school spirit on gameday! In this case, I put on these fun dangly ball earrings, A&M choker necklace, and maroon aviator sunglasses. A stack of bracelets featuring A&M’s signature maroon color is festive and cute! Hold your drink in that hand, and your friends are sure to spark up a convo over your arm candy!

Lastly, the most important part of your gameday outfit is your shoes! You’re bound to walk from the parking lot, to grass, to the bleachers, so I highly suggest a pair of boots. If you don’t have cowboy boots, a pair of over-the-knee black boots (like these or these) are a good option. Also, don’t forget to wear some tall wool socks for extra warmth!
