Holiday Party Outfit

Holiday Party LBD

So far this holiday season, I’ve done plenty of shopping in between decorating the Christmas tree, wrapping gifts, and catching up on all my Bravo shows. Just now I realized that this is the last long Christmas break I’ll ever have, since come next Christmas, I’ll be done with school and won’t have the luxury of two months of downtime anymore! This year, I don’t have any holiday parties planned to attend before the 25th, only two graduation parties. However, that didn’t stop me from doing a little holiday party outfit inspo for The Ashley Edit readers! When it comes to holiday parties, sometimes shopping for Christmas gifts can take a toll on your budget, and the last thing you want to do is splurge on a brand new party dress. So, what do you do? Simple! You just grab your LBD (little black dress)! Nearly every girl has a little black dress that they feel great in, and if you’re one of the few girls who don’t…. Girl, you should be asking for one for Christmas! A little black dress is a wardrobe staple, and will make your life sooo easy when you need something classy for a last-minute semi-formal occasion.

For a holiday party, make your little black dress more celebratory by incorporating glamorous accessories into your outfit. Now’s the perfect excuse to break out your fun, sparkly pieces. So yes, ditch your everyday purse for the shimmery clutch that hardly sees the light of day, and put on those gorgeous chandelier earrings that you always say are “too much”! Parties are a time to shine and feel your best, so finish of the look with cute bow heels and a yummy scent that always earns you compliments! You’ll be sleighhhhhing your way straight under the mistletoe. LMAO did I just write that? Kidding! 😉 But really, with a few formal accessories and nice outerwear, no one will guess that your LBD has been in your closet for years! Happy Holidays.
